When Allied Fabricators was founded in 1992 it
commenced operations as a custom fabrication company working to customer
drawings and specifications. Through the passing years the company focus has
been expanded to include hydroelectric power production equipment which,
although still custom, now accounts for more than 50% of the annual sales.

Ontario Power Generation, the largest Canadian power
producer, represents a considerable percentage of AFI's annual gate sales.
Through its commitment to quality and aggressive estimating policies, the
company has tendered many successful bids for station rehabilitation contracts.
Such contracts typically span a number of years with equipment to be installed
during scheduled power outages.

The private utility power producers constitute the
balance of the gate projects produced by the company. These contracts encompass
all components required for new construction from steel embedded in concrete to
hoisting equipment for the gates. Typically these contracts would encompass all
work from design through installation and commissioning
